Hi, all. *waves*  Sorry I haven't been around much. Crappy internet combined with crappy computer = not being able to load DA very often. Someday, I vow, I shall have a good laptop! *shakes fist in the air*

Anyway, on to the good news, which is very awesome. Ree and I have been together for about seven years, but this year, on July 12th, we were able to get legally married.

I've made one change to the raffle. Instead of two winners, there will be three. Why? Because that's how many people entered, and with that few, I'd feel horrible that one of the awesome people who entered to help out a stranger feel better lost. So, yeah, there wasn't really a need, technically, to do a drawing, but I promised a drawing, darn it. The winning numbers are 13, 4, and 1. Congratulations, guys! You are all awesome. Thank you so much. Send me a note with info on what bust you want drawn, and if you want it my style or 's style.

Not sure if there's much point in putting this here since no one seems interested, but I'm running an art raffle, as my sibling wrote. Said sibling will be drawing a detailed bust for the two winners (assuming anyone enters). The reason for the raffle is to get a new 3DS for my darling who is the same darling that she's always been, just with a different DA name. Her current 3DS is having problems, and it's one of the few ways she has of relieving all of the stress she's under right now.

Anyway, here's how the raffle works, for every $5 donated to vegetapet@aol.com on paypal, the person who donated gets one entry into the raffle, so if someone gives $10, they have two chances to win. Two numbers will be selected using a random number generator, and the winners will get a detailed bust drawing of the character (self-made or just a character they're a fan of) of their choice, done by . I'll do the coloring, and then will do any touching up the coloring may need. You can also specify if you want the picture in my style (a sort of painting effect, which you can see in my most recent work) or in 's style.

As of right now, the raffle has been going on since February 9, 2015 and is set to end on February 23, 2015 (has been extended, was the 16th), so it'll be over soon. However, if there's anyone who wants it extended, just let me know, and I'll push that date back.

So, I've been watching a lot of Adventure Time lately (I know, shocking to anyone who's been looking at my recent deviations, right?), and I have a theory that popped into my head after a recent showing of Simon & Marcy. I'm recording my theory here on the off chance that I'm actually right. I think Princess Bubblegum is related to Ice King, and is possibly even his daughter... sorta. When Simon jumps from the bridge and lands in the bubblegum in the tree, he gets caught by his backpack and his hair. Considering the hold of the gum was enough to keep a hold of the backpack, I'm pretty sure it kept some of Simon's hair. Princess Bubblegum is supposed to be a bubblegum/human hybrid. Simon was still at least a little bit human at this point, so it's possible that his DNA is what makes her partially human.

Anyway, I'm probably wrong, but it's an interesting theory, and if it does turn out to be true, I can point to this journal entry with a triumphant "HA!"

Soooo, as can be seen from my recent deviations, Adventure Time has stolen my soul. is also really into it right now, too, and we're working on some fics and art together. In honor of our shared obsession, I got some plushies for us from Toys R Us. A Marceline one for since that's her favorite character, and an angry little Ice King plushie for me. Because like J. T. Dogzone always says, chicks dig a bro with a tortured past. Though I don't dig him in that way. I just really want to hug the dude. And maybe give him a cookie. And some pie. And, since this is Adventure Time we're talking about, some spaghetti.

Anyway, Angry Little Ice King Plushie is sitting on my chest, watching as I type. O.o Both the dog and one of the cats have tried making out with him by gently nibbling on his nose and beard. It's really weird.
